THE LANDSCAPE DESIGN PROCESS

1.) Initial meeting: This first visit is free of charge, and allows me to see your property to create a design proposal that matches your needs.

2.) Level of design service is decided upon: Consultation only at hourly rate, Concept Plan only, or Complete Landscape Plan

3.) Site plan is developed showing existing conditions; homeowner helps with Client Questionnaire

4.) Concept plan is produced: Full-color, scaled plans provide new ideas for your hardscaping, plants and living spaces (see examples below)

5.) Final plan development: Approved concepts lead to fully-designed plans for your new landscaping (see examples below).

 
A Complete Landscape Design includes:

  Hardscape plan
  Planting plan
  Perspective sketches
  Detailed plant lists
  Recommendations for licensed & bonded landscape contractors to install your design, or assistance in locating plants & materials if you are a diy-er. Plant maintenance information included.

Post-design: The best way to make sure that your plan is installed in such a way that it maintains the design integrity is to have me consult with your installer as needed during construction. This is charged at my hourly rate (see below).
