THE LANDSCAPE DESIGN PROCESS

1.) Initial meeting: discuss your wants and needs for your landscaping.

2.) Type of design service is decided upon, a contract is signed

3.) Site plan is developed showing existing conditions; homeowner helps with Client Questionnaire

4.) Concept plan is produced: Full-color, scaled plans provide new ideas for your hardscaping, plants and living spaces (see examples below)

5.) Final plan development: approved concepts lead to fully-designed plans for your new landscaping (see examples below).

3-D perspective of courtyard patioYour Final Plan Includes:
  Hardscape plan (if needed)
  Planting plan
  Perspective sketches (as necessary)
  Detailed plant lists

Recommendations for licensed & bonded landscape contractors to install your design, or assistance in locating plants & materials

6.) Post-design: Consult with installer as needed to maintain the design integrity. Assistance with decision-making during construction.

"My goal in the post-design phase is to act as the liaison between you and your installer to get you the best possible landscaping, one that maintains all of the design details that you and I have worked out together."
