DESIGN PROCESS AND FEES
 

Design Process:

1.)   Initial meeting: discuss your wants and needs for your landscaping.

2.)   Type of service decided upon, a contract is signed

3.)   Designer develops site plan showing existing conditions; homeowner helps with Client Questionnaire

4.)   Concept plan produced: Full-color, scaled plans provide new ideas for your hardscaping, plants and living spaces
 

5.)   Final plan development: approved concepts lead to fully-designed plans for your new landscaping.
       Includes:

  Hardscape plan (if needed)
  Planting plan
  Perspective sketches (as necessary)
  Detailed plant lists
  Recommendations for licensed & bonded
      landscape contractors to install your design,
      or assistance in locating plants & materials

6.) Post-design: Consult with installer as needed to maintain the design integrity. Assistance with decision-making during construction. My goal is to act as the liaison between you, the homeowners, and your installer to get you the best possible landscaping, one that maintains all of the design details that we worked out together. (This assistance is billed separately from the plan development at my hourly rate.)
